Today's serving up a fascinating paradox: while everyone's chasing the next shiny AI thing, the smartest moves are happening in the boring-but-brilliant category. Adobe's finally bringing Photoshop to Android, Meta's going nuclear (literally), and Microsoft's democratizing video creation with Sora. The thread connecting today's chaos? Platform expansion and infrastructure plays are quietly reshaping how we'll work and create. It's less about revolutionary breakthroughs and more about making powerful tools accessible to everyone.

💰 The Finance Overview

NVIDIA reclaimed its crown as the world's most valuable company yesterday, hitting $3.444 trillion and edging past Microsoft's $3.441 trillion. The chip giant's 50% surge from April lows shows investors are doubling down on AI infrastructure, even as trade tensions create headwinds. On the startup front, funding's flowing to practical AI applications—Neuralink's $650M round and smaller bets on recruiting automation signal VCs want real-world AI deployment, not just chat toys. Tech stocks showed mixed signals with some profit-taking in the magnificent seven, but infrastructure plays like nuclear energy partnerships are drawing serious institutional attention. The wild card? Gaming hardware is having a moment with Nintendo Switch 2 dropping tomorrow and summer showcases creating buzz around next-gen experiences.

What Happened: Bitcoin's wrestling with a stubborn resistance zone around $106,000-$106,500 after touching $105,470 today, following rejections from recent highs near $112,000 in May. Technical indicators show bearish crossovers on shorter timeframes, but the cryptocurrency maintains support above key Fibonacci levels around $103,145. 

Why It Matters: This consolidation phase could determine whether Bitcoin attempts another run at all-time highs or faces a deeper correction toward the psychological $100,000 level. Large holder accumulation during recent dips suggests institutional confidence remains intact despite short-term volatility.

What Happened: Ethereum bounced off its 200-day moving average around $2,461 and is approaching resistance at $2,724, while XRP tests its 50-day EMA at $2.27. The broader crypto market is showing signs of recovery after a period of consolidation, with several major tokens approaching key technical levels. 

Why It Matters: Breaking these resistance levels could signal the start of altcoin season, especially as traditional market risk appetite appears to be returning. The correlation between crypto and tech stock movements suggests institutional money is rotating back into risk assets.

What Happened: Adobe launched Photoshop for Android in beta, available free during testing on devices with Android 11+ and 6GB+ RAM. The app includes core desktop features like layers, masks, and AI-powered Generative Fill, plus mobile-optimized tools like "Tap Select" for gesture-based editing. 

Why It Matters: This completes Adobe's mobile strategy after the iPhone launch in February, potentially democratizing professional photo editing for billions of Android users. The timing coincides with mobile content creation hitting mainstream, making sophisticated editing tools essential rather than nice-to-have.

What Happened: Microsoft integrated OpenAI's Sora video generator into Bing's mobile app, offering free 5-second video creation with standard speed processing. Users get 10 fast generations free, then can use Microsoft Rewards points or switch to standard speed. The feature creates vertical videos initially, with horizontal support coming later. 

Why It Matters: This makes enterprise-grade AI video generation accessible without ChatGPT subscriptions, potentially flooding social media with AI content. It's Microsoft's bet on becoming the gateway for AI tools, even if the output quality doesn't quite match more polished demos yet.

What Happened: Meta signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Constellation Energy for 1,121 megawatts from the Clinton Clean Energy Center in Illinois, starting in 2027. The deal supports the plant's relicensing, adds 30MW capacity, and preserves 1,100 jobs while providing $13.5 million in annual tax revenue. 

Why It Matters: This is Meta's largest power deal ever and signals how seriously Big Tech takes AI's energy demands. Unlike other data center deals, this secures existing nuclear capacity rather than building new—you could say they're really powering up their relationship with clean energy. The move sets a precedent for tech giants supporting grid stability while meeting sustainability goals.
